I have companies try to charge for the wardrobe bar on top of the wardrobe box price. Often that little bar is more expense so when you get a quote make sure to ask that questions. My suggestion would be only deal with people that take ten minutes or less to drive to because often times they embellish the condition of their boxes so they can get somebody interested to pick them up.
